ESSCA is part of the Shanghai ranking – 2024 Global Ranking of Academic Subjects. The school is ranked in the Business Administration category among the 400 best institutions in the world on the subject, along with 18 other French higher education institutions.

Based exclusively on research, the Shanghai Ranking assesses the commitment of higher education institutions to their research activities.

ESSCA’s entry into this ranking brings evidence of the utmost quality of the intellectual contributions published by its faculty members, making ESSCA a world-renowned institution in terms of academic excellence.

For its first appearance in the “Impact Survey”, ESSCA was marked on 4 of the United Nations goals: quality education, gender equality, decent work and economic growth, partnership for the goals. Out of a total of nearly 2,000 institutions ranked by the THE, ESSCA is in the 4th position among French management schools.

The School achieved the excellent score of 74.4/100 for “decent work and economic growth”, placing it in 87th among the 1,149 institutions to have chosen this indicator.

LE PARISIEN 2024

In this ranking, ESSCA is recognised for its vision and commitment to excellence, innovation and global relevance. ESSCA is also ranked No. 1 post-baccalaureate school for the number of countries offered.

LE FIGARO 2025

To compile its rankings of the top French business schools, Le Figaro Étudiant evaluated institutions offering a Grande École programme granting a recognised Master’s degree. The schools were then categorised as post-baccalaureate or post-prep according to their main recruitment method. Le Figaro takes into account various indicators, including research quality, faculty numbers, international impact, and graduate employability.

ESSCA’s Master in Management programme earned an impressive overall score of 17,3/20, securing 2nd position for the School. The programme’s standout features included its academic excellence, global reach, and strong employment prospects. On the employability criterion, ESSCA ranks first.

LE POINT 2025

ESSCA confirms its leadership among five-year post-baccalaureate business schools. It retains its 2nd place ranking for its Grande École programme, which confers a master’s degree.

The ranking methodology is based on six main criteria: pedagogy, international outlook, professionalisation, selectivity, research, and academic recognition.

This year, it is noteworthy that ESSCA has made significant strides in both the international and professionalisation criteria, across all management schools.

CHALLENGES 2025 

ESSCA is one of the top post-baccalaureate business schools in France, excelling in both its Master in Management and Bachelor in International Management programmes.

Based on a questionnaire sent to the schools and on data from open sources, the rankings used 9 groups of criteria to rank post-baccalaureate business schools.

ESSCA’s programmes stand out for their appealing curriculum, the opportunities offered to students for immersion in the business world, and competitive salaries for graduates.

This ranking position reaffirms the quality of ESSCA’s Bachelor in International Management. ESSCA continues to progress at the highest level, moving up a place, which demonstrates the excellence of its Bachelor programme and its innovative “3 years – 3 countries” curriculum.
